When can I get my first box?

Will you deliver to me?
Yes. We deliver nationwide in the UK. Any address that can receive post can receive a box of coffee from eightpointnine.
Is this a subscription?
No! When you sign up for eightpointnine you can set whether you select a "one-off box" or you can choose to have your boxes of coffee weekly or fortnightly. You can easily pause, re-schedule or cancel your coffee deliveries in the 'my account' section so you can easily choose to have your coffee when you want it!
Can I cancel at anytime?
There's no commitment ever - you can cancel your deliveries at any time or re-schedule them with a few hassle free clicks. Say you're going on holiday, it's really easy to push back your boxes from the 'my account' section of our site.
What sort of coffee can I get?
We offer delicious, fair-trade coffee from across the globe. We take pleasure in sourcing the best coffees from around the globe. Close attention has been paid to the social, environmental and economic impact that coffee-growing has on the local communities we buy from, ensuring wherever possible that producers receive a fair price, working conditions are acceptable, and the business is sustainable.
How much coffee do I get in each box?
Each box contains 150 grams of our great tasting coffee, blended to your exact requirements. Why 150g? We calculate that is enough for 16 cups of coffee with a little bit left over just in case. For the average coffee drinker that should last your household about a week (2 a day and 3 at weekends) - if you drink it quicker you should probably be working here!
How do I choose the perfect coffee for me?
Your coffee is designed by you to your own taste and preferences. You tell us what you like by using our simple taste and flavour sliders and then name it. We hand-blend your coffee based on your choices ensuring you receive your own perfect blend each week.
Can I tweak it?
Yes! If you decide you want your coffee a bit richer or sweeter then it's really no problem! You can tweak your blend as many times as you like using our easy to use sliders and we'll send you this new blend on your very next delivery.
Designing and tweaking all sounds a bit complicated, can you select a blend for me?
Don't worry, if you don't know what you like you can always select our grandCRU service. Each week we'll select and hand-blend a world-class roast that will showcase the best coffee flavours from around the globe. The best bit is if you really like one of the blends then you can change to receiving a regular order of your new favourite.
I have an espresso machine/cafetiere/filter/my own grinder can I use your coffee?
Yes. Because all our coffee is hand-blended to your specification we will freshly grind it for your favourite coffee making method or just send you the beans if that is what you like.
How do I order a box?
Ordering is simple. You choose your coffee, then let us know how often you want it (weekly or fortnightly) and if you want it at the start or the end of the week. Then all you have to do is sit back and wait to enjoy your coffee when it arrives, simple as that.
How often do I pay?
You just pay for every box you receive - once you've signed up we'll take a payment each time we send you a box of coffee so there is no need for you to worry about forgetting to pay and you won't be charged if you have paused or suspended your deliveries.
Can I send boxes to lots of different people and addresses?
Not yet but we are working on this feature.
Do I need to wait at home and sign for my box?
No, all eightpointnine boxes will fit through a normal sized letterbox.
